The DJI Phantom 3 has been prone to cracking around the new higher torque motors and even around the new star motors. Many owners have been dismayed to find cracks around the motor mount screws and the shell retention screws on the arms of their new Phantom 3’s lower shell, necessitating shipment of the P3 to the repair center in California (often taking more than 6 weeks). The UAV Bits Strong Arm is designed to strengthen the area of the lower shell that is under the most stress. It will also help prevent the motor or upper shell from coming loose during flight in case the lower shell breaks in the area of the retention screws.
